Each year, Carmel and surrounding communities come together during Independence Day to celebrate our national and local heritage at "CarmelFest". This annual Fourth of July celebration has become the largest community gathering in Hamilton County with over 50,000 attendees. CarmelFest unites young and old, crosses political parties, and brings out a spirit of national pride that fuels a festive celebration. From a parade and fireworks to live bands and pony rides, CarmelFest offers two fun-filled days of celebration!

Local businesses, corporate sponsors, community leaders and dedicated volunteers, work with us to put together a fabulous celebration. CarmelFest is the largest single community project that Carmel Rotary supports each year. With a committee of over twenty people and a group of over 200 volunteers, CarmelFest can be your proving ground for leadership in this community.
